They meet by chance, or perhaps exactly when they need that meeting most. They talk about love, loneliness, grudges and unfulfilled dreams, and try to understand each other — even though at times it seems almost impossible.
A leading man battered by life comes to cry on the shoulder of an old friend. It looks like an ordinary conversation between two people who have known each other for years. But neither He nor She suspects how this meeting will end.
No less unexpected is a chance encounter in a bar between a tipsy poet and a pastry chef from a small provincial town. Two completely different people, two worlds that were hardly meant to meet. But sometimes one evening, one conversation or one careless word is enough for life to suddenly take a completely different turn.
In these stories the funny constantly borders on the sad, romance on disappointment, and ordinary everyday situations suddenly turn into little dramas with utterly unpredictable endings.
This is a play about men and women, about our need to be heard and loved, about the accidents that change lives, and about how hard it can be to say the most important words to the very person standing next to you.
Life is full of surprises. And you never know which meeting will be just an episode and which will be the beginning of a whole new story…
