A warm weekend awaits Bucha and Bucha district: on Saturday the air will warm up to +18°, and on Sunday to +21°. Weather models expect rain and a thunderstorm only on Sunday evening.

Friday: wind and rain

Today, 9 October, gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected in Kyiv region until the end of the day, the first, yellow level of danger, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre warned. The wind may disrupt the work of energy and utility companies and traffic.

Rain is also forecast in Bucha today, with about 6 mm expected over the day.

Saturday: a chilly morning and a dry day

The night before Saturday will be chilly, around +6…+8°. The morning will be cloudy, only about +8° at 9 o’clock, so fans heading to the morning Bucha v Olimp match should dress warmly.

During the day it will warm up to +18°, with no rain expected. The wind will be light, up to 3–4 m/s with gusts to 8 m/s. Sunrise is at 07:13 and sunset at 18:18.

Sunday: the warmest day and a thunderstorm in the evening

Sunday will be the warmest day of the weekend: about +12° at night and up to +21° during the day. It will be cloudy for most of the day, and the chance of rain until the evening is low, 15–25%.

Closer to night the weather will change: rain with a thunderstorm is forecast in Bucha after 21:00, with about 10 mm overnight. Gusts will strengthen to 10–12 m/s.
