Three graduates of the Sofiivskyi sports and culture complex in the Bucha district have signed professional contracts and joined U-19 squads. Oleksii Shtelmakh has moved to LNZ Cherkasy, while Nazar Trydid and Illia Slutsenko have joined Obolon Kyiv.

The Bucha District Football Association reported this.

Where they come from

The boys began playing at FC Prohres Sofiivskyi, a club that has operated at the Sofiivskyi complex since 2021. There they trained, grew as athletes and gradually moved up.

“For the football club and for the whole Borshchahivka community it is a special pride to see its graduates continue their path in professional football,” the association says. It adds that behind every such move are years of training, hard work, family support and the daily effort of coaches.

Where exactly they have gone

Both LNZ and Obolon play in the Ukrainian Premier League this season. The youth teams of such clubs are a full part of the club structure with a proper training cycle rather than a neighbourhood section: U-19 is the usual route into the senior squad.

This is not an isolated story for the Bucha district: football here runs deep, and the district championship started this year in two divisions at once.

As a reminder, Bucha Fortuna have three new signings of their own — among them a striker with First League experience.
