The morning attack took a life in the Bucha district. Another man suffered multiple shrapnel wounds and was taken to a local hospital, the regional authorities say.
This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
In the Fastiv district a woman was injured, with cuts to her arm. She is receiving the necessary medical care while services continue to survey the impact sites.
"This is another strike on civilians. Behind every such report is someone's life, family, loved ones," the regional administration said, offering condolences to the family of the man who died.
The drone came back — for the rescuers
In the Bucha district emergency crews worked at several locations at once: drone strikes had set warehouses and cars alight here.
At one location a second drone hit was recorded while rescuers were working. It is the same double tap, aimed precisely at those who arrive to put out the fire.
"After reconnaissance the crews resumed work. The warehouse fire has been contained, work to deal with the consequences continues," the Kyiv regional emergency service said.
It added that rescuers keep working under constant threat of repeat strikes — and that the work has gone on all night and all morning.
Thirteen cars and blown-out windows
Separately, crews put out a fire that engulfed thirteen cars. The flames caught them in the courtyard beside a residential block, leaving only burnt-out shells.
The apartment block itself was damaged too: the blast wave blew out its windows. This is the case where a nearby hit leaves a whole stairwell without glass, and residents wait for glazing.
The destroyed Nova Poshta sorting centre
In Sviatopetrivske the strike destroyed a Nova Poshta sorting centre. The company said all its staff are alive — the first thing it was able to establish after the hit.
Customers are promised compensation for the full declared value of damaged parcels. Nova Poshta says it will contact each of them individually with the details.
Because of heavy smoke, residents of Sviatopetrivske and nearby areas were asked to close their windows and stay indoors while the emergency work continues.
A second day running
This is the second morning in a row that the Kyiv region has woken to explosions. Yesterday rescuers also worked around the clock, breaking off as new drones came in.
"For a second day running the enemy is terrorising the Kyiv region. This is terror against civilians," the regional military administration said.
The drones are hitting civilian targets: private houses and apartment blocks, warehouses, cars, businesses. There is no military target among them.
What has been recorded across the region
As of this morning, 14 warehouses, 16 private homes, 3 apartment blocks and 16 vehicles have been damaged across the region. The tally is still being compiled.
Damage was recorded in five districts: Fastiv, Boryspil, Vyshhorod, Brovary and Bucha. All the necessary services are working on site.
How the attack unfolded over the district
Overnight and in the morning the drones came in waves. Their courses ran through Hostomel, Kotsiubynske, Nemishaieve and Kapitanivka, turning towards Obolon and the Borshchahivkas.
At about 10:12 Kyiv time three drones manoeuvred in the Chaiky — Sviatopetrivske — Vyshneve sector: pulling back to turn over Boiarka and Chabany, then returning.
Three more drones flew from Dymer towards Borodianka. The air raid alert in the Bucha district was declared twice that morning — at 9:16 and at 10:00 Kyiv time.
What to do
The regional administration asks people not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in safe places while the threat lasts. The attack may be repeated within the day.
