The death toll from the strike on a facility in the village of Myla, Bucha district, has risen to thirty-eight.

The announcement was made by Tymur Tkachenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

"A terrible and irreparable loss. My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims," he wrote.

Among those killed is the head of the Dmytrivka community, Taras Didych. He was one of the first to rush to the scene to be with his people.

August 30 has been declared a Day of Mourning in the Kyiv region for the victims of yesterday's russian attack. As a mark of sorrow and remembrance, the National Flags of Ukraine will be flown at half-mast throughout the region, and entertainment events will be restricted.

The injured and the evacuated

Forty-two people suffered injuries of varying severity, four of them children. All received qualified care and seven were taken to hospital.

A total of 381 people were evacuated from the emergency zone, including 59 children.

About fifty damaged houses

The assessment of the damage to the community continues. So far about fifty residential buildings are known to have been damaged to varying degrees.

Those whose homes were hit are being offered temporary accommodation. Details are available at the operational headquarters set up in the Dmytrivka village council.

What is happening at the site

Rescue and firefighting work continues at the location: dismantling structures, extinguishing fires, search and rescue, and inspection of buildings and the surrounding area.

Medical services are also working there. An operational headquarters has been set up in Dmytrivka to handle residents' requests — it also provides hot meals and psychological support.

Highway Traffic Update

Vehicle traffic has fully resumed on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway in the Kyiv region after a section near the village of Myla was closed due to a fire and detonations. This was reported by the Patrol Police of Ukraine on Saturday, August 29. "Update: traffic has been fully restored," the statement read.

As a reminder, the detonations at the enterprise in Myla began on the evening of 28 August.
