A preventive screening programme for people over forty is running in the Makariv community. Some 317 residents have already been examined at the local clinic.

The Makariv settlement council reported the numbers.

After forty it is especially important not to wait for the first symptoms. Screening shows the basic indicators of the body and allows a timely visit to a doctor.

Participants get a full examination, individual recommendations and a plan for the next steps based on the results of the visit.

To join, a person needs two thousand hryvnias on their Diia card. The application goes through the app or the administrative service centre, and payment can be made by card at the clinic.
