The European accident report for a minor road accident can now be completed entirely in the Diia app. This also applies to drivers in the Bucha area: data from state registers is filled in automatically, so the document can be completed faster and without mistakes.

This was reported by the head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksii Biloshytskyi.

The digital report is suitable if only two cars without trailers are involved and they remain at the scene. There must be no injured or dead, and no damage to property other than the cars themselves.

Both drivers must have valid compulsory motor insurance policies, be sober and not be under the influence of medicines that reduce attention or reaction speed. Another condition is that the drivers agree on the circumstances of the accident.

The service is found under Diia → Services → For drivers → European accident report. Both drivers sign the document with Diia.Signature, after which the data goes to the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine and the insurers.

Driving licences are not confiscated and no administrative report is drawn up. If the other driver does not have Diia with verified documents, a paper form is needed. And if the drivers disagree, the police should be called on 112 or 102, the patrol police remind.

As a reminder, at the end of September three cars collided on the M-07 highway near Horenka, and two children were among the injured.
