Three more groups of young residents of the Bucha community have spent their holidays in Palanga, Lithuania, as part of the sister-city partnership. In total, 60 children enjoyed a Baltic seaside summer this year — among them children of fallen defenders of Ukraine, children of combat veterans, kids from large families and gifted schoolchildren.

The trip was about more than the sea: the programme included excursions, active leisure, new friendships and plenty of fresh Baltic air. Holidays like these help children recover and come home full of positive impressions.

The city council thanked Palanga mayor Šarūnas Vaitkus, the municipality and the residents of the sister city for their warm welcome. The Bucha–Palanga partnership long ago outgrew protocol meetings — it is a friendship measured every summer in children's smiles.
