Makariv settlement council has received a letter of thanks from the command of a military unit. It concerns a resident of the community, soldier Andrii Homon.

This was reported by Makariv settlement council.

The soldier received the award For Combat Achievements in the Defence of Ukraine. His commanders describe him as a man who can be relied on in battle.

Part of the letter's thanks is addressed not to the soldier himself but to those who raised him — his family and his community.

The command asks that the message be read out publicly, so that those he grew up among know about their fellow townsman.
