The “Map of Women’s Needs” study was presented in Bucha. It covered the town and all eight village districts of the community, and the results were handed to the Bucha Regional Development Agency to shape new projects.

This was reported by the Bucha City Council.

The study was initiated by the Women’s Circle of the Bucha Community. Its members wanted to find out what women need in terms of psychological recovery, self-development and safe spaces.

The survey showed that more than 34% of women feel exhausted. More than 83% feel an acute need for their own support groups.

The results were discussed at a round table that brought together active residents, volunteers and community representatives. Afterwards, the participants took part in a folk singing therapy session with the Perlyna Buchi and Blystavchanka ensembles.

The event was organised by the Berehynia Myru charitable foundation with support from the Ukrainian Women’s Fund.

As a reminder, free psychological support in Bucha is available through your family doctor.
