The free family festival Charity Family Day will be held in Bucha city park on 5 and 6 September. Last year it lasted a single day; this year the organisers are expanding it to two.
The festival was announced by the TVOYA OPORA charitable foundation.
The organisers list more than a dozen zones: a children's amusement park, a separate space for teenagers, a Baby Zone for under-twos, sports and health areas, an educational space, a beauty zone, street food and a festival market.
For children there will be a play area with trampolines, entertainers and rides; for adults, lectures and workshops. This year, for the first time, a celebrity book fair and lecture series will be held.
Nothing. Entry is free, all activities and rest areas are free of charge, and guests do not need to register.
Exact opening hours have not yet been published — the programme page on the festival website is currently empty.
All funds raised go to psychosocial support for children affected by the war, under the foundation's programmes — specifically to the Tvoya Opora family centre for mental wellbeing in Vorzel.
The centre has operated since 2024, occupies three floors and has its own shelter. By its own account, more than 3,500 families have received help there and over 13,000 services have been provided, all free of charge.
As a reminder, the Aeneid will be staged among thatched cottages — also on 5 and 6 September, but near Kyiv.
