The project's official name is a mouthful — "Housing Repair for Restoring the Rights and Opportunities of People (HOPE)". The point of it is shorter: put back in order the buildings that were damaged but survived.

This was announced by Bucha City Council.

The planned works were presented to residents by Bucha Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk and the project's design team. Discussions were held with residents of three clusters in Bucha and Vorzel, completing the first stage of community engagement.

At the meetings, residents were able to ask questions and put forward suggestions. The organisers' reasoning is simple: the people who live in these buildings understand best what those buildings need.

The next step is to refine the design solutions in light of that feedback. The designers will then present the community with final reconstruction concepts for each cluster separately.
